I have been obsessed with all things Disney since I was a very young child. Growing up in Florida, my family traveled to Walt Disney World several times a year. While in high school I started dating my future husband and we discovered our mutual love for Disney. In fact, we were married at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion and had our reception at The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

Our fairy tale continued when we had our three children. Each one experienced their first trip to Walt Disney World before they were three months old. We’ve been Disney annual passholders for more than 15 years. Our family celebrates every birthday, anniversary and holiday at Walt Disney World. It is truly our home away from home!

This past summer we experienced our first trip to the Disneyland Resort and it was a dream come true! No matter how many times I’ve been to a Disney destination it never gets old. The excitement and the magic continue to grow for myself and my family. I know how to make memorable moments with Disney and I look forward to helping your family experience them too.

  • Julie Tausch, CMP

    Personal Travel Advisor

Julie’s first trip to Walt Disney World was back in 1987 when she was just a little girl, flying by herself from Ohio to meet her grandparents at Orlando International Airport. Ever since that magical first trip, Julie has been in love with all things Disney and has been going back to Walt Disney World with family and friends ever since.

She loved Disney so much that she decided to apply for the Walt Disney World College Program while working on her undergrad degree and was accepted. She spend 6 months working on the Main Entrance team at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. After moving back to Chicago to complete her degree at DePaul University, she held various positions in marketing, PR, advertising, and special events. After obtaining her CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) designation in 2012, she got a job as a meeting planner and lucky for her, the first big conference she worked on was held at the Disneyland Resort in California! She spent a week there between the Disneyland Hotel and the Grand Californian working on a large scale conference and expo. This sparked her interest in working for Disney again, so she decided to go back to work for Disney in Orlando.

While in Orlando, she worked in Cast Activities for a year where she helped plan amazing events for Cast Members such as the annual CROW (Canoe Races of the World) event where Cast Members race around Tom Sawyer’s Island in the Magic Kingdom in the early hours before the park opened just for bragging rights. She then went on to work in Convention Services at Disney’s Contemporary Resort for 2 years working with many Meeting Planners who hosted their conferences and meetings at the resort.

Although Julie no longer works at Disney, she is still an Annual Passholder and visits a minimum of once a month for fun! In order to fulfill her love of planning and all things Disney, she decided to become a Magical Vacation Planner! She loves sharing her Disney knowledge and love with others and is always sharing the latest and greatest tips and tricks with friends, family, and now you!

  • Maria Pereda

    Personal Vacation Advisor

Maria has been a Disney fan from an early age. She has visited the parks since 1971 with her family. During Maria’s college years she worked at the Disney store is San Juan, PR. During that time she had the opportunity to learn about Disney characters, movies, products, and the culture of guest service.
Ten years ago Maria and her family moved to the Orlando area, and since she is a Pass-Holder and a Vacation Club Member; she has Disney experience beyond the theme parks experience; that is at Hotels, Value Resorts, Deluxe Villas, and Disney Cruises.
Maria also has had the opportunity to visit Disneyland California, and taken advantage of the personalized tours such as the Walking Walt Foot Steps.  With regards to Disney Cruises; she is a Disney Cruise Gold Member; with several trips to both Alaska, and Bahamas in both The Wonder, and The Dream cruise liners.
Maria can help families plan their vacations with great detail. She knows the ins and outs of the Disney experience (from making the reservations, planning for the best meal plan, getting Fast Passes for attractions, and creating the best shopping tour). She knows how to help her customers make the best decisions based on their needs.
Maria is a mother and a teacher, so she knows of the needs for a family traveling with small children, and she knows about Disney attractions created mainly for adults, and how to coordinate leaving the children under the professional and safe care of Disney; while adults can enjoy for a short time on their own.
Finally, she is fully bilingual -Spanish, English.- This fact gives the opportunity to reach more customers, provide a better service, and give confidence to those customers who do not understand English.
To Maria this is not a job; it’s another experience Disney has made for me.

Marsha’s love for Disney started at an early age. Growing up in the mountains of Virginia, her family started going to Magic Kingdom in its early years when you still had to buy a coupon book for the rides you wanted to enjoy. In 1984, Marsha moved to Orlando and is now excited to be close to the Magic. She and her husband share a love for Disney and have passed that love on to their sons. She was able to surprise her husband (and 2 sons) for his 40th birthday with a trip to Disneyland in California. Her family has been passholders in Orlando for many years and enjoys seeing all the new and exciting attractions as they are being built and finally opened. As a passholder, she has had the opportunity to experience the parks often and learn lots of inside tricks and tips to help make a vacation magical. Her family has stayed at many of the different levels of resorts on property and has had the opportunity to dine at most of the restaurants. Marsha is an avid cruiser and has enjoyed several journeys on Disney Cruise Line including their special holiday sailings.
